United Way of South Texas

1. For more than 30 years, the United Way of South Texas has been committed to improving lives and to building strong communities.
2. United Way of South Texas is an independent, autonomous organization that is governed by a local volunteer Board of Directors who are stewards of the organization’s finances, administration and programs.
3. United Way of South Texas works together in partnership with non-profit agencies, government, and volunteers to accomplish our mission.
4. Last year United Way of South Texas partnered with 30 non-profit organizations who delivered critical services to more than 190,000 individuals in Hidalgo and Starr countries.
5. United Way is focused on what matters most to residents in Hidalgo and Starr counties: we identify needs, propose solutions and report results.
