State Employee Charitable Campaign
SECC or State Employee Charitable Campaign was established in 1993 by the State Comptroller’s Office. State employees can make monetary contributions to any 501 (c) 3 listed in the SECC brochure annually. The United Way of South Texas administers this program; the Rio Grande Valley territory includes Hidalgo, Starr, Cameron and Willacy Counties.
